About TeslaMirror

TeslaMirror is an application that will support your Android device application mirroring to Tesla vehicle! Also, it can help application screencast to a normal desktop browser (Safari or Chrome).

For Tesla car built-in browser
1 Create sure the vehicle is PARKED.
2 The Tesla car network must be connected to the Android device device Personal Hotspot first. Tesla MCU2 hardware is needed. MCU2 is available on the Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model X (late than March 2018), Model S (late than March 2018), or the Tesla cars that are upgraded to MCU2 from MCU1.
5GHz Personal Hotspot Wi-Fi network is preferred. Wi-Fi Six AP is not supported by Tesla vehicle.
Hardware check list: Android device device with Wi-Fi hotspot support, and Tesla car with MCU2.
3 Start the TeslaMirror app. Confirm "Tesla Proxy" switch is on in the TeslaMirror app
4 Click the "Start" button to start Screen Broadcast in the TeslaMirror app
5 Access the link http://3.3.3.3:3333 via Tesla car built-in browser (Please note 3.3.3.3 is not a real public IP. For this app, the 3.3.3.3 is just a virtual IP that is accessible only on the Android device Wi-Fi hotspot.)
6 Have fun the application streaming
7 Pinch the Tesla car built-in browser screen to zoom in/out the picture
8 There is no audio help for the moment. Only the application screen will be mirrored to the browser. You can use the Bluetooth audio link to Tesla car play the audio of the Android device device simultaneously during the application mirroring.

For normal desktop browser (Safari or Chrome)
1 Create sure all your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
2 Start the TeslaMirror app.
3 Click the "Start" button to start Screen Broadcast in the TeslaMirror app
4 Access the link below the "Stop" button via normal desktop browser (Safari or Chrome)
5 Have fun the application streaming in the browser

Key Features
1 No additional internet traffic for the screencast, the application mirroring traffic is only locally on Android device device Personal Hotspot. However, please note that during the screenshot, the Tesla car will use the hotspot traffic for its internet access when the hotspot is connected
2 No additional hardware needed; it is a totally software application mirroring solution.
3 Private, the screencast is only available to the devices connected to the Android device Personal Hotspot Wi-Fi network, not available to the public internet.
4 Quick network, it is only on the mobile hotspot network. No need to be routed to the public internet
5 For Android device device, it only needs to help Wi-Fi hotspot function. There is no need for Android device device to have cellular help and SIM card. The Android device device can connect to another mobile hotspot or iPhone hotspot, then share the network to Tesla via Wi-Fi hotspot.

FAQ
1 There is no audio help for the moment. Only the application screen will be mirrored to the browser. You can use the Bluetooth audio link to play the audio of the Android device device simultaneously during the application mirroring.
